Though we do offer a fair share of concert reviews for our readers, the co-owners of MTT decided that we should start implementing posts that highlight upcoming shows within the NYC area on a week by week basis. This post will be the first of, hopefully, many to come. Have a show you think our readers should go to? Feel free to comment on this post and let us know. Marina and The Diamonds’ indie-pop sound has been getting some fair share of recognition lately — with the solo act opening for Katy Perry on her California Dreams tour, this may be the last chance in some time to see the Welsh-born songstress in an intimate venue. Funk/80s pop rapper Gordon Voidwell will be opening for Marina and The Diamonds during what promises to be a stellar show. Continue reading »
